Crystal clear sound without compromise
Our smallest electrostatic system for rooms from 15 square meters is an uncompromising dipole system with only one crossover frequency at
250 Hz. This means that the entire mid-high range is transmitted with just one system and therefore requires no crossover to separate the high and mid-range, resulting in precise and faithful reproduction. In combination with a ModalAkustik Ripol bass speaker, a superb sound fidelity is achieved. The dipole characteristic of the overall system literally eliminates the acoustics of the listening room. The music can therefore be enjoyed unadulterated over the entire frequency range without any significant influence from the room and is therefore superior to any other conventional system, such as cone loudspeakers.
Impulses from musical instruments, such as the beating of a drum or a string, are transmitted without distortion thanks to the low moving masses used in the electrostat. This results in an impressive, clearly differentiated reproduction of everything from rock/pop to classical music. In combination with a dipole subwoofer, the system achieves incredible dynamics and attention to detail, as well as spatial imaging.
This model is only available in a plexiglass version. It comes with a plexiglass subwoofer from ModalAkustik.
The electrostats are supplied with DSP Class D amplifiers as standard, which also drive the subwoofer. An analog crossover can also be installed as an option. In this case, a separate amplifier is required for the subwoofer, which is also offered by ModalAkustik.
